A three-week course in Community Spanish I will be offered at Kansas City Kansas Community College beginning Monday, Sept. 10.
The class will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8:30 p.m. through Sept. 26 in Room 2335 of the Jewell Building on the KCKCC campus at 7250 State Avenue.
With Spanish rapidly becoming the second language of Wyandotte County, the fun and interactive non-credit course will equip participants with the skills and confidence to communicate more effectively by learning and actively practicing basic grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation to greet, meet and even assist Spanish speakers in the community.
The class will be taught by Stephanie Marquez of the KCKCC Community Education Division.
Tuition is $85 ($80 for Prime Time Club members) and includes all materials.
Registration can be made in person in the Community Education Building (CEB) on the east side of the KCKCC campus at 7250 State Avenue; by phone with credit card payment at 913-288-7660; or on-line at www.kckcc.edu and clicking on Continuing Education and Fall 2012 Schedule.
