More information on the costs of a potential bond issue for the Piper School District

By NICK SLOAN, NJSloan212@gmail.com

Last month, I did a post about the likelihood of the Piper School District asking the residents in the school district to pass another bond for additions to the district's high school school and newest elementary school.

There was some debate on the issue in our comments about the proposed $3.8 million bond to add classrooms to both buildings.

Below is more information about the taxpayer costs in relation to the bond. The second image below details how much a high school would cost the taxpayer.

The dollar figures on the left are the property value; those on the right are the monthly costs a taxpayer in Piper would pay for either the additions or a brand new high school.
