Robert Henderson, 32, Kansas City, Kan., is charged with five counts of distributing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
The crimes are alleged to have occurred in 2010 and 2011 in Kansas City, Kan.
If convicted, he faces a penalty of not less than five years and not more than 20 years and a fine up to $250,000 on each distributing count and a maximum penalty of 10 years and a fine up to $250,000 on the possession count.
The Overland Park Police Department and the FBI investigated. Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott Rask is prosecuting.
He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
