each recipient at the annual international NISOD conference hosted by the
University of Texas at Austin May 27-30.

of higher learning through conference, publications, web services and

In 1989, NISOD hosted its first ceremony in conjunction with its
International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence.
“We are indebted to NISOD
institutions for their continuing support of tis annual celebration,” said Dr.
Ben Hayes, Director of KCKCC Faculty and Staff Development and a past NISOD
award recipient. “The Excellence Awards tradition allows up the distinct
privilege of honoring so many of the world’s best in education.”
