KCK police investigating hit-and-run on Parallel

The Kansas City, Kan., Police Department is investigating an early morning hit-and-run incident that happened on 63rd and Parallel Parkway Thursday.

KCK police responded to a call after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area just after 2 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The victim’s in critical condition as of this morning and police are continuing the search for a potential suspect in the case.

Per the victim and police, the vehicle in question refused to stop and did not check on the victim.

Police were still investigating the scene three hours after the hit-and-run was reported.
